Financial Analyst, Operations Reporting

Purpose of Role: Reporting to the Director, KARS and Consolidations, The Financial Analyst, Operations Reporting participates in the data collection, review and consolidation of Kinross’ monthly financial results, including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and operational metrics. Kinross reporting encompasses approximately 200 legal entities, using a web based consolidation system, SAP’s Business Planning and Consolidation tool. In addition to performing consolidations, KARS (Kinross Advanced Reporting System) is used to collect and report management/operational metrics and budget/forecast comparisons.

Purpose of Role: Reporting to the Vice President, Commercial Development, the Director, Risk will play a key role in the Kinross Commercial Development, building and maintaining the Company’s Risk process and reporting platform.
 
 

Global Security Analyst

Purpose of Role: The Global Security Analyst will Report to the Vice President, Global Security and will be responsible for all duties associated with travel security, business intelligence and country risk requirements, and security management systems. The Global Security Analyst will provide necessary levels of support regarding the Global Security Standardization program to include metrics gathering and Global Security Intranet site management.
 
 

HR Project Coordinator (Contract)

Purpose of Role: Reporting to the Organizational Effectiveness Specialist, the HR Project Coordinator assists with managing the administration of the Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness (TMOE) function, specifically providing support in the areas of administration and process management of new and ongoing initiatives. The role has a strong project management focus, requiring understanding of project management practices and how to apply these to TMOE initiatives. For ongoing processes associated with established programs, the HR Project Coordinator will oversee and direct the tactics required to maintain the programs, as well as initiate improvements to increase time and cost efficiencies as required.

Purpose of Role: To provide administrative support and proactively manage the daily activities of the Vice President, Information Technology. The IT Administrator/Project Coordinator works under limited direction, according to set parameters and established practices, makes decisions governed by general policy and uses problem resolution to select and interpret information and handle deviations from standard methods and practices.
 
 

Contract Director, Global Learning & Development

Purpose of Role: Reporting to the Vice President, Talent Management and Organization Effectiveness, the Director, Global Learning and Development is accountable for the management of end to end employee development including needs analysis, design, development, delivery, quality assurance and evaluation. Responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of learning solutions, programs and tools to ensure alignment and support of corporate goals. Leads the design and delivery of the global learning and development strategy and programs required to retain, motivate and develop our employees to achieve organizational success. Directs knowledge transfer activities and sustainable education programs in the communities where we operate. Supports leadership development program activities and e-learning components of the strategy. Partners with Global HR team members to support the implementation and consistent execution of global L&D strategies and programs. In addition, coordinates a variety of global and local vendor partners.
 
 

JDE Technology Area Specialist, Distribution

Purpose of Role: To oversee activities related to complex business systems with a focus on JD Edwards Supply Chain and Inventory modules and to ensure service and /or operating standards are met (internally and / or externally). To design and develop processes, practices, and methodologies in Business Systems as they relate to JD Edwards’ Distribution modules. To lead the software development lifecycle for Supply Chain systems though the stages of analysis, design, development, testing and deployment. To initiate and undertake projects to optimize business systems performance, and to ensure adherence to industry regulations and organizational standards. To lead Supply Chain systems implementation projects including providing software development, application support, internal consulting, maintaining the system, and providing training for the areas of specialization. To provide input to IT-related business planning including, but not limited to, budgeting, scheduling, and workload planning.
 
 

Technical Focus Senior Underground Engineer, Projects

Purpose of Role: To provide the technical leadership in the area of underground mine engineering. To act as a senior team member in the development of preliminary and final feasibility studies for mine development. To provide technical guidance to the feasibility study team with respect to all technical areas of underground mine development. To provide engineering and project management support for mine access development and mine development into stope production. Provide transitions from project management into operations management.
 
 

Financial Analyst, Corporate Accounting

Purpose of Role: To perform routine internal accounting processes following established policies, practices and procedures when completing work assignments. To contribute to the design and development of processes, practices, and methodologies in accounting.
 
 

Senior Analyst, Project Economic Modeling

Purpose of Role: Reporting to the Director of Capital Project Controls, the role is responsible for supporting Kinross’ capital project development process, including preparation of economic models for capital projects, analysis to support the validity of the budgeted / forecasted results, analysis of actual results against budget and other ad hoc analysis. The role will work closely with project managers, outside engineering firms, and other groups within the Kinross organization to ensure that information in models used to justify projects is accurate, current, and complies with corporate policies. This role will also assist in providing project information to the finance departments at the sites and corporate as it relates to budgeting and forecasting, monthly and quarterly reporting, application of corporate policies (such as IFRS, processes and controls) and other finance related issues or questions.
 
 

Sr. Capital Project Cost Estimator

Purpose of Role: Provide cost estimating knowledge and techniques to aid in the preparation and development of multi-disciplined and detailed cost estimates. This position will review project drawings and technical specifications to ensure that the scope of project work is accurately represented in cost estimates. This position will be responsible for developing various types of estimates from scoping studies, pre-feasibility, feasibility to detailed design and construction in the mining industry.
 
 

Manager, International Assignments

Purpose of Role: Manages the Company’s expatriate programs, policies and all processes associated with international relocations and repatriations.
